8/16/19 Hometown Hero Outdoors was able to get 12 Vets, Active Duty, and LEOs and their plus 1's out on Mille Lacs for some fishing on a McQuiods Inn and Event Center Launch. After we drove through some heavy rain to start with it turned into a perfect evening for some open water enjoyment. Fishing was a bit slow to start but the group interacted and enjoyed themselves while Wade Yuhala grilled up some burgers and dogs. Then Capt Mike made a short move and we found the fish. Thank you all for your service and your attendance.
