34th Lake Pepin Open

Team HHO was on the water yesterday and today with two teams at the 34th Lake Pepin Open hosted by Walleye Searchers of Minnesota. This was a two day event starting Saturday and ending Sunday. It was a tough bite and it didnt help that 13 teams pushed off the lake early on Saturday because of gale like wind and rain as well as lightening and we were included. Safety was our main concern. Sunday though sunny was just as windy making it really tough to boat and fish. We did get a first though with Jason Kenneth Blatz catching his first sauger ever.

I want to give Mikey Rara Max Coleman (Paul Coleman and his wife Aurora) for donating a camping spot for the staff and cooking us dinner. You are phenomenal people and we are blessed to know you. Thank you Andy Betzsinger and Jason Allen for bringing your boats as well and it was great fishing with you Jason Blatz and great seeing you again. Better luck next time!
